报告摘要

As a basic thermodynamic parameter, pressure can effectively shorten the distance between atoms, change the electronic orbitals and bonds, and then regulate the properties of materials. As a result, many exotic materials that cannot be obtained under atmospheric pressure can be synthesized at high pressure. In recent years, high-pressure experimental technology (DAC) has been developed to facilitate the synthesis of many functional materials with excellent properties, such as with high-Tc superconducting hydrides, superhard materials, and high-energy-density materials. Correspondingly, the development of single crystal X-ray diffraction experiments and data analysis under extreme conditions have effectively helped the structural characterization of the new materials synthesized in DAC. This report introduces the high-pressure experimental platform built by our group, the experimental method of single crystal X-ray diffraction under extreme conditions, the data analysis, and the research on crystal chemistry of carbonates.

个人简介

Yu Wang is a research assistant at Goethe University. She received her B.S. in Physics from Jilin University in 2013 and Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Science and Technology of China in 2019. In 2019, she joined the Institute of Solid-State Physics, Hefei Institute of Physical Sciences, Chinese Academy of Sciences, as an assistant researcher. In 2023, she was appointed as an associate researcher, and joined Goethe University at the end of 2023. She is mainly engaged in the synthesis, structure and physical characterization of new materials under high temperature and high-pressure conditions. The research mainly includes H2O, H2O+H2, polynitrides, and carbonates. At present, she has published papers in academic journals such as Nat Chem, PRL and so on, and has presided over the National Natural Science Foundation of China Youth Project and a number of other national projects.
